Business sustainability issues, covering corporate governance factors (ESG) factors, can affect a company's ability to generate long term returns, through a lack of understating of potential risks to a business or a failure to embrace future opportunities.  As such, we believe that factors affecting long term corporate sustainability, covering ESG, should be incorporated into fundamental equity research.
